Our founder served 27 years as a Navy Surface Warfare Officer, commanding ships and leading international Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) exercises. This distinguished military background, combined with a lifetime of hands-on maritime experience ranging from dinghy sailing to competitive racing and commercial fishing operations in New England and Alaska, positions us as a trusted advisor for complex maritime and defense challenges.

My experiences in Joint Missile Operations, Interoperability, Coalition building and mission execution enable me to discuss and guide development and training through Ground and Flight tests through Combat Operations. I understand the process from sensor to engagement track through shared operating picture(s) to weapon assignment and end game kill. I have a perspective over the stovepipes to meet the Joint Mission of saving lives and meet mission requirements.
Defense & IAMD/BMD Advisory
From my first introduction at Wallops Island in 1998, I have operated the Aegis Combat System for almost 30 years. I've taught console operations, fired 79 Tomahawks, led exercises firing SM-3, SM-2, Talons, PAC-3 MSE's and even torpedos. I have run the Formidable Shield exercise in uniform and as an MDA government civilian. I have an unending thirst for knowledge and the most modern and advanced weapon systems. I have been behind or next to 4 AN/SPY-6(V)1 arrays (DDG 125, Kauai, CSEDs and DDG 125) – I have even been on the LRU production line at Honeywell in San Diego. Let's make it all work!
Naval Operations & Leadership Consulting
Starting my maritime life at 12 years old as a commercial lobsterman in Beverly, Mass, I've been working in the maritime for over 40 years. I commanded 3 ships: a Minesweeper, an Aegis Destroyer and a hybrid Expeditionary Staging Base. I also race sailboats and operate a Sea Ray powerboat (LIBERTAD II). Being on the water is truly my happy place whether a 70,000-ton warship or a Laser sailboat. I can provide leadership consulting and assistance at any level.
